Jesus, Have I Really Given You Ever
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Jesus, Have I Really Given You Everything?

Jesus, I’ve been wasting

time on foolish things.

Not living the kind of Godly life

that only Jesus brings.

Twenty four hours in a day, Jesus.

How much time with you is spent?

I’ve never really thought of what a

commitment to you meant.

I need to spend more time in

your word and in prayer.

Forgive me now of not doing this...

I didn’t even care!

Even ten minutes with you Jesus is

more that this world could give,

This is what I need to do...

as your child ought to live.

So Lord, my time I give to you.

Take total control.

Make my life new!  And by your word...

Make it whole!

My time with you

most important to me.

Finding freedom in Christ

and being set free!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
