Lord Jesus, I Need YOU!

Lord Jesus, I Need You!

There’s something I’m

 most certain…

Lately I’ve been really hurtin’.

Many things I’ve done

 have turned out “wrong”

I don’t know if I even I belong?

Many friends just pass me by..

I sometimes get an

 occasional “Hi!”

I wonder if my message

 is getting across…

I feel so confused and

completely lost.

A message of help is my

 urgent plea!

Please Jesus…  Reach out

and touch me!

Lord, please remember me

and touch my soul!

I need your love

to fill my soul!

Spending time with Jesus

 is time well spent.

I come before you lord

and humbly repent!

I repent and confess

my wayward sins…

As a new life with Jesus

this day begins!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
