What'll I Do with the Love You've
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

What’ll I Do With the Love You’ve Given to Me?

If I had to live just on the love

 you’ve given to me…

Where will I be spending eternity?

As I think of the time

 we’ve spent together…

Am I someone you’d want to be with forever???

My ambitions, dreams, or visions…

Would you care?  And stop by to listen?

If I have a heartache.  Or a burden to share…

Are you someone, who’d stop by and care?

If I need someone to be Christ’ example…

Could you give me his love?  Even a sample?

If I spent my life all over again…

Are you someone that I could call; “friend?”

If I came to your church

 this Sunday morning…

Would you welcome me?

 Or give others a “warning?”

If I were to ask for some

of your time today…

Would you do it?  Or tell me “to go away?”

If you could sit down and think

 about what I’m saying…

Perhaps the Holy Spirit would

compel you to start praying…

Would you pray in reaching

 those who surround you.

The many lost souls you know

 just may astound you!

The message of God’s grace

 needs to be daily expressed…

That through your living for Christ…

Others may be blessed!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
