The God of Daniel Is the God of Tod

The God of Daniel Is the God of Today!

I think about Daniel being put into the lion’s den.

What an interesting life it must have been!

Even though the King’s law forbidden

 him from praying.

He didn’t seem bothered by what

 others were saying!

He prayed to God with his window wide open.

A heart to heart talk with God was spoken!

Tricked and deceived was Darius the king.

But Daniel knew God would take care of everything!

Into the den of lions, the prophet Daniel was placed.

You should have seen the look on the king’s face!

The next day, he was released!  No harm was found.

God had sent his angel to calm the lions down!

God protected Daniel from the mouths of the beasts!

Daniel was protected by God’s

 love and peace!

If you find life’s problems to daily surround you…

Remember the God of Daniel is all around you!

You can trust the God of Daniel to see you through!

He’s willing to do this, because of his love for you!

The God of Daniel, is the true and living God TODAY!

Through the adversities of life…

He’ll make a way!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
