Does Anyone Still Believe in God??

Does Anyone Still Believe in God???

As godly morals seem to be quickly disappearing…

A lot of sexual perversion is daily appearing.

In many lives, God seems to be a “relic of the past.”

And often, they’re running into danger FAST!

Often, marriage vows are quickly “tossed around.”

As the sins of adultery pulls families down.

Our money reads: “In God we trust.”  Is this true?

What, in the world, is America going to do???

As God’s word is often “tossed out the door…”

Does anyone know right from wrong anymore?

Our only hope and answer in all of this confusion.

Is not what is read from this country’s constitution!

We must seek God and his word for our direction!

As this country rots with a deep sinful infection!

We need to seek Jesus, while we still have the time!

He offers hope and salvation to all of mankind!

We need to come and repentance and confession.

A love for Jesus needs to be our daily “obsession.”

God is alive today!  You don’t have to be alone!

Why not allow him to be the Lord of your home?

Please come dear Lord,

and touch us this hour!

We need your touch, and soul cleansing power!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
