Many In Church Have Sexual Addictio
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Many In Church Have Sexual Addictions!

Many in churches struggle with sexual identity.

Too many have lost any sense of Godly purity.

Many come on Sunday with a lot on their minds.

They struggle with fantasies of perverted kinds.

Many would watch a game than listen to a pastor.

Their minds often wander off into x-rated pasture.

They’ll quote the Bible and still say they’re a Christian.

But often live under a dark cloud of suspicion.

Often, they’re the first to say; “judge me not.”

It seems life this is the only verse they’ve been taught.

What God says about holiness seems “old fashioned.”

More and more kinds are

 in a perverted “compassion.”

“Come just as you are,” is often the churches cry.

As more people in church will spiritually die.

It’s no wonder why many pastors don’t preach on sin.

They’re all so messed up, where would they begin?

The message of the gospel is very loud and clear!

The judgment of God is drawing so very near!

It’s time to wake up church, if heaven is our goal!

Let’s have a Holy Ghost revival to touch every soul!

Sexual addictions can be a thing of the past.

Jesus provides a victory that can forever last!

Let’s come clean church and lay

our needs at the cross!

Without holiness in our life,

 we’re doomed and lost!

Unless the Lord builds the house,

 we labor in vain!

Let’s all come to Jesus and bring

 honor to his name!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
