Subject: When you stumble and fall...

              When You Stumble  &  Fall...

When, in life, you stumble
and fall.
You feel like "you're up
against a wall."

You've nothing to enjoy...
No one to love.
Everything is pouring in "like a flood."

Your life seems to be sinking
like quicksand.
You wonder if anyone really
does understand.

Jesus is knocking, waiting
for an invitation.
Invite him in and enjoy
his gift of salvation.

Allow him to start your
life fresh and anew.
His arms of love and mercy
are waiting for you.

He'll pick up the pieces
from a life torn apart.
With a special love that'll bring
peace to your heart.

Jesus alone can do what no
other power could ever obtain.
Reach out to him now-simply
call on HIS name!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
