In June

In June, when all the greening has sufficed-
the woodland's gift from Spring now ushered in,
warmth of Summer's dew-kissed mornings begin
exuding from the forest floor, enticed
by sky bound canopies.  The time precise
since Genesis, each season's growth and spin-
the lovely flora and fauna all akin,
and low thicket, anything but concise.
Those speckled hues here and there- wildflowers,
sometimes a sea or other times a few
that cause my thoughts to while away the hours
meandering, as I so often do;
a quiet solitude that never cowers-
a tree branch touched- the hand of God anew.
