Moon Silvered Fields
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Moon Silvered Fields

Moon silvered fields softly glow,

the night before me dark and still-

an iridescent glistening snow

surrounding me midst Winter's chill.

So quietly, the woodland sleeps;

all trees are sentries standing there

awatch over the ground that keeps

a thawing eye on Spring, aware.

Without a sound, an owl glides

across the lane and disappears

into the forest, vast and wide-

its flight assured, no darkness feared.

I as the woodland, stand in praise;

I as the owl, lift my wings

amidst the order of His ways

knowing He sees everything.
