"Tis Jesus

 

I write; the water freely flows.

I grow; my spirit brightly glows.

His love shines out and surely shows-

'tis Jesus working through me.

 

The words that come are meant to praise;

the thoughts draw others to His ways.

I'm guided during earthly days-

'tis Jesus working through me.

 

Not one thing do I do alone;

my future is already known

by Him, whose blessings here have shown-

'tis Jesus working through me.

 

My heart cries out to speak His name;

eternal love remains the same.

By writ or speech, I'll fan the flame -

'tis Jesus working through me.
