Forgiveness

Forgiveness

In peaceful breeze, the willow bends
as branches softly touch the ground;
from storms of past, the tree amends
and thrives from roots beneath, profound.

Concordant victory is won
as in this nature, I can trace
the hand of our Creator One
who has instilled such living grace.

In skyward growth, the willow shows
no bitter life - no backward slide,
but with each day, in brighter glow-
forgiving branches gently glide.
