Merry Penguins Three
Tune: "God Rest ye, Merry Gentlemen"

We are the Merry Penguins Three
We've come to bring you cheer!
We've come to bring you Christmas
It's the strangest time of year...
You shop for hours to find the stuff
You'll stand in line to buy,
Fight the crowds and the traffic
Tell us why, tell us why?
O, Christmas is
Our favorite time of year!

We are the Merry Penguins Three
We've come to bring you cheer!
We've come to sing you Christmas
As the strangest time of year...
You fill your socks with candy
Then you go from place-to-place
Singing Yule-songs to strangers
Face-to-face, face-to-face
O, Christmas is
Our favorite time of year!

We are the Merry Penguins Three
We've come to bring you cheer!
We've come to tell you Christmas
is the strangest time of year.
You bring a dead tree in your house
and cover it with balls,
Tape your mail to the door
And on the walls, on the walls
O, Christmas is
Our favorite time of year!

We are the Merry Penguins Three
We've come to bring you cheer!
To wish all you at WordChimes
Jesus' love this coming year...
Creator of the universe
Became a Baby Boy!

O, tidings of comfort & joy, comfort & joy,
O, Christmas is
Our favorite time of year!

--Connie

Merry Christmas, everyone!

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
