A Thought for Valentine's Day
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

He still puts the stars to bed
And plants each tiny seed;
Puts every petal on each flow'r,
Provides our every need.
Yet He who knows our future paths

Veils our eyes here below;
Although we strain to see ahead,
Love says we must not know.
Eternal Wisdom planned it thus ~
No human comprehends,
The child of God must learn to trust
In faith, what our Lord sends.
No matter what the future holds,
Entreat your soul to rest;
Secure to know,

Day
After day,
Your Father does know best!

"For I know the plans that I have for you,"
declares the Lord,
"plans for welfare and not for calamity
to give you a future and a hope."
(Jeremiah 29:11 NASB)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
