Behold I'll Do a New Thing
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

   Behold I’ll Do a New Thing (1)

There’s nothing new, or so they say

It’s even in The Word                              Ecc.1:9

Yet God will do in present day

What no one’s seen or heard                   Isa.43:19

The Lord is greater than The Book

Of this you must agree!

If not, it’s time to take a look

What unseen soon will be?

The bible’s but a minute part

The Lord has had to say

Now something new is soon to start

Unknown until today

The misted glass is soon to clear

When Jesus cuts the ties

The world will learn to love and fear

As veils, fall from her eyes

It’s coming soon there is no doubt

Let every heart repent

Let man now see and turn about

Before the day is spent

From Zion’s wall we’ll hear the cry

The watchmen of the night

Will speak of that that draws now nigh

And soon will be in sight

All Christ foretold, will surely be

Each promise sound and true

Will soon arrive for man to see

So plain for all to view

Now lay aside the former things

The new; is close at hand

So swift it comes as if on wings

Just as The Lord has planned…..

    Behold I'll Do A New Thing (2)

Too long, you’ve stood before my hill

But few evoke my Son

Yet evil mouths are seldom still

All fear of God has gone

As time goes by you pay no heed

Despised, is now my name

Yet when I send the news you need

Will still you act the same?

Receive it well what now I send

Make of the truth good use

I’ll serve it light, to comprehend

So there’ll be no excuse

So none can say God left you dumb

Let there be no mistake

With open eyes, you’ll see it come

To save from hell’s vast lake

Loud echoes, in the wind will sound

In earth’s four corners heard

My Spirit’s Flame will scorch the ground

With those doubting my word

Many believe they know it all

They’ve studied life so much

They think they’re wise but soon they’ll fall

Without my healing touch

Join not the fool, to die in shame

Let not your heart grow cold

Receive and keep, in Jesus’ name

What soon you’ll all be told

Am I not God, The Lord of all?

Is not all power mine?

Beware my children heed my call

Refuse another’s wine..…

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
