Influence

Leaders set out on a journey,
Then take others along with them.
Ahab – more evil than all before him.

He broke the LORD’s first commandment.
There’s one God and Baal is not Him.
God is love, but angry with evil men.

He willfully went his own way.
When we don’t give weight to God’s Word,
We’re people ignoring what we have heard.

The culture has to see us stand
For God’s Word and living it out.
We need to pray – live what it’s all about.

Does God withhold what we want most?
God hid Elijah at Cherith,
Then fed him and led him – my soul hear it!

“The pagans run after all these things, and your
Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But
seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:32 & 33
