Flawed

God uses flawed people -
Jonah, Peter, Thomas - somehow.
I’m a flawed character.
Can He still use me here and now?

Some did not want to do His will.
Some felt so shy and weak.
Some said, “Lord, not me - I just can’t.”
God said, “I’ll help - just speak.”

God can use those who are willing,
Even through our drawbacks.
He can change weaknesses to strengths,
Keep dynamics on tracks.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
