Jesus

I'm leaving here now, Father.
I go now to do Your will.
I go to live The Gospel.
I won't be born like a king.
I'll identify first with the lowly.
I will live among them without a real home.
Then I will give myself for every sin.
I'll pour out my life their souls to win.
I'll stay in the tomb for three days as you said.
After Your plan completes, I'll send The Spirit
To lead and guide those who have believed
And My own gracious salvation have received.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
