Not Avenging Angels

Not Avenging Angels

Jesus came the first time
to save, not condemn men,
but He will judge righteously
when He comes again...

Who could mete out judgment
against another mortal soul?
we were saved by grace
and never in control!

The Lord has the authority
to balance the scales...
He is fair and just and
His decisions will prevail!

We're not avenging angels,
just ambassadors who share
the saving grace of Jesus
with people everywhere!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
