Good Things
By Everett Christian WC Poet
he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
and the heavens were created.
He breathed the word,
and all the stars were born.

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. - 1 John 4:16(New Living Translation).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
5 He (the Lord) fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
- Psalm 103:5(New Living Translation).
A QUOTE

NOTES
Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the mid sixties. June and I went out for lunch at Taco Bob's. We came by the post office and then to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. This afternoon we went to Walmart. We went to the cemetery. The flowers at Flonnie's grave are still in place and still beautiful. This evening we sat with the cats for just a few minutes because it was quite chilly. June made some more pictures. The one I am sending tonight is Lucy sitting on the stump of a tree. Everett and Rascal can also be seen. Far to the left of the picture is another cat. I just received an e-mail from my granddaughter, Carissa DeClerck. Her son Devon (my great-grandson) was in an accident. We request your prayers. I will leave a copy of Carissa's letter at the end of the Good Things.
The cats are fine.
At 9:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 50 degrees. I will see you next time.
In Christian Love, Everett.
Here is Carissa's letter:
Hi grandpa. Devon had an accident tonight and has a 6 inch fracture to his skull that is bleeding through. He's awake and talking now and eating. his vital signs are good and he's getting 2 hour neuro checks. We are watching for swelling and he is getting medicine to control the swelling. We expect him to make a full recovery. Please say a prayer for him! We love you.

how glorious is our God!
4 He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
how just and upright he is!"
