GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Moses said) 3 "I will proclaim the name of the Lord;
      how glorious is our God!
 4 He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
      Everything he does is just and fair.
   He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
      how just and upright he is!"
- Deuteronomy 32:3-4(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.  - 2 Corinthians 9:6-8(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

God knew the seasons of life would bring sunshine and rain. . .for both He created the shelter of friendship.  - Bonnie Jensen -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

God made time, but man made haste.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures around 70 degrees.  June and I had lunch with Bill Derichsweiler.  Charley had lunch at his church today.  June and I then came by the post office and then to Walgreens to pick up a prescription.  This afternoon we took Beau to the Vet to get his annual examination and vaccinations.  After that I took a nap.  Beau and Little Girl joined me at naptime.  This evening we sat outside with the cats until the street lights came on.

The cats are fine.  Rascal is asleep on the desk near my computer.  I can reach over and pet him anytime I wish.  He likes to be petted.  Little Girl is asleep on the couch, however she has been outside a time or two today.  Leo just came to the den for a minute.  Beau was a pretty good cat going to the vet after we caught him.  He was asleep on a bed but when he heard the rattle of the cat carrier, he took off and went outside.  I was able to catch him in a little while.

At 9:15 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 51 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
