Good Things
By Everett Christian, WC Poet
and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
11 The Lord will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring."

Health Care
Do we really need another huge bureaucracy in D.C.? The Postal Service (which is semi-private under the direction of Congress), NASA, (totally gov't), AMTRAK, gov't owned and always in debt, Social Security, Medicare and Medicade, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; all of these are either being downgraded or deeply in debt, all under government control. Now what do people really think,( that is, you the voter), will happen with health care if it is run by the government? To suggest that government will lower costs and keep them under control is simply wishful thinking at its worst!
Health care needs reforming, but not the kind that the Obama Administration and Congress are now planning.
Tort reform, opening insurance across state lines, fighting fraud and abuse (which is very prevalent I am sure), putting all those who cannot afford (meaning they cannot feed and shelter their families and have health insurance) on a gov't subsidy, health savings accounts (tax exemption), and preventative medicine will all go toward lowering costs. There are other ways also I am sure. But government control and take over will NOT lower costs but exacerbate the problem. You can be sure of that!
