GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
- Philippians 4:4(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.  - Ephesians 2:13(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.  - Margaret Mead -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

I never can do what I want to do for having to do what I have to do.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Give not unto others the advice you do not heed yourself.

NOTES

I had lunch with my pastor today, J. T. Carnell.  My brother, Charles, is on a senior retreat with his church and will not have lunch with me until Thursday.  This afternoon I went to the post office, Walmart and Country Mart.  Today has been a cloudy day with high temperatures in the upper fifties.  We have had a lot of rain this afternoon.  I always appreciate the e-mails I receive in response to the Good Things.

The cats are fine, staying inside tonight due to the rain.  I walk around or sit in the yard every day.  Some of the cats always follow me around when I am walking or sit with me when I am sitting.  Happy is now asleep on the couch here in the den.  Little Girl has been helping me with the Good Things.

At 9:15 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 53 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
