NOTES
Today has been a sunny day with a high temperature of 53 degrees. I had lunch with Charley at Taco Bob's Fiesta Grill. Brianna was our waitress today. I went to the post office. I stopped by the CVS store for a couple of items. I took a nap this afternoon. Some cats were with me part of the time. I gave the cats their treats at around 5:00 p.m. Thank you for reading and writing.
The cats are fine. Leo, Rascal and Tony are in the den with me at present. Leo is scratching on the back of the computer chair that I am sitting in. I have see all the kitties this evening.
Have a nice Saturday,
Everett.

However many possessions God gives us, we need to share them generously and store up treasures in heaven. - From The Bible Promise Book -
NOTES
What a difference 24 hours can make. Last night it was snowing and covering the ground with two or three inches of snow and making the streets slick. This morning the sun came out and most of the snow is gone and the streets are mostly clear but may freeze again before morning. High temperature today was 39 degrees but is now back down to 30 degrees. I didn't go out for lunch because the streets were still ice covered near my house at the time I usually go out for lunch. I took my nap this morning with Smokey. At 4:00 p.m. today the streets were clear so I went to the post office to pick up my mail and picked up a hamburger while I was out. I gave the cats their treats around 5:00 p.m. Thanks for reading and writing.
The cats are fine. Leo and Rascal are sharing the recliner chair now so I guess I will let them keep it for a while. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Friday,
Everett.

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
8 Though you have not seen him (Jesus), you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. - 1 Peter 1:8-9(New International Version).
A QUOTE
Friendships begun in this world can be taken up again in heaven, never to be broken off. - Francis De Sales -
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
People don't care how much you know unless they know how much you care. - From Reminisce Magazine -
Though possessions are gifts from God, they can also distract believers from the fact that all in this life is temporary. - From The Bible Promise Book -
You cannot get ahead while you are getting even. - From Reminisce Magazine -
NOTES
Another cold front came through today. We had light rain this morning that turned into freezing rain and sleet about 11:30 a.m. It has been light most of the afternoon but in the past hour or so the snow has begun to get heavier and the ground is getting white again. Instead of having a lite winter we are having a late winter. There is supposed to be a warming trend starting tomorrow but first we have to get through tonight. I had lunch with Charley, Bill, Denton(our nephew) and Pastor JT today. Brianna was our waitress today. I stopped by Country Mart and the post office as I came home from lunch. I took a nap with one or two cats. I gave the cats their treats around 6:00 p.m. Thanks for reading and writing.
The cats are fine. They are mainly staying in tonight. Emmy is the only one in the den with me now. They are mainly staying in because of the cold. I don't know where Rascal is now. I will hunt him when I send the Good Things.
Have a nice Thursday,
Everett.

There is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of one small candle. - From Thank You For Being a Friend -
NOTES
March came in like a lion, maybe it will go out like a lamb. The snow started about noon on Friday and continued through the afternoon. On Saturday we had snow which turned into freezing rain. Most church services were canceled on Sunday including the one I attend. Sunday afternoon it warmed up and the snow began to go away. I did not leave my driveway on Saturday or Sunday. Today I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Angel was our waitress today. I went to the post office and then to Walmart for my weekly supply of cat and human food and other items. I intended to do the Good Things last night but after I got the garbage ready and pushed out to the street my back was hurting so I rested instead of doing the Good Things. This afternoon after I came home from Walmart I got ready for my usual nap. There were five cats sleeping on my bed. I guess they like my bed because it smells like me. I lay down anyway and some of them left but two or three remained to sleep with me. Thanks for reading these silly notes and for writing to me.
The cats are fine. Leo and Lucy are in the den with me. Leo in the recliner chair and Lucy on the back of the couch. Rascal just came in and is on a desk near me. I have seen all of them this evening.
Have a nice Tuesday,
Everett.
