GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. - Colossians 3:2(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

8 Though you have not seen him (Jesus), you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. - 1 Peter 1:8-9(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Friendships begun in this world can be taken up again in heaven, never to be broken off. - Francis De Sales -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

People don't care how much you know unless they know how much you care. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Though possessions are gifts from God, they can also distract believers from the fact that all in this life is temporary. - From The Bible Promise Book -

You cannot get ahead while you are getting even. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Another cold front came through today. We had light rain this morning that turned into freezing rain and sleet about 11:30 a.m. It has been light most of the afternoon but in the past hour or so the snow has begun to get heavier and the ground is getting white again. Instead of having a lite winter we are having a late winter. There is supposed to be a warming trend starting tomorrow but first we have to get through tonight. I had lunch with Charley, Bill, Denton(our nephew) and Pastor JT today. Brianna was our waitress today. I stopped by Country Mart and the post office as I came home from lunch. I took a nap with one or two cats. I gave the cats their treats around 6:00 p.m. Thanks for reading and writing.

The cats are fine. They are mainly staying in tonight. Emmy is the only one in the den with me now. They are mainly staying in because of the cold. I don't know where Rascal is now. I will hunt him when I send the Good Things.

Have a nice Thursday,

Everett.
