Micah 6:6-8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
John B. Anderson's commentary:
Believing as I do that Christ's words to Nicodemus are relevant to the situation of modern man and that we must be "born again" in no way relieves me of my responsibility to pursue social justice, to act in compassion toward my fellowman and to seek a better world. For, while man is a sinner, God has implanted within each of us a conscience, and with it we become responsible for our own actions and chargeable with the responsibility to do mercy, seek justice and walk humbly before our God. W e cannot escape the fact that we are our brother's keeper.

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
16 That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick. 17 This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said,
"He took our sicknesses
and removed our diseases.”
- Matthew 8:16-17(New Living Translation).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
16I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." - Romans 1:16-17(New International Version).
A QUOTE
For lonliness, God gives love.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
If you don't believe in cooperation, imagine a wagon with one wheel missing.

NOTES
Today has been mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid eighties. We had some light rain this morning for about 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Charley had lunch at his church today. I had lunch with Bill Derichsweiler. I went to the post office and then to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. I went to Family Dollar store for a couple of items. I took a nap in early afternoon. After my nap I went to Walmart for cat food and other items. I sat outside with the cats from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the sofa at present. Rascal was around a little while ago. Rascal let me know late this afternoon that he wanted to rest with me so I laid down with him for about an hour.
At 10:20 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 76 degrees. I will see you next time.
