GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 3 "But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you."  - Matthew 6:3-4(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

6 For the Lord grants wisdom!
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
- Proverbs 2:6(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

The most cruel word - revenge.
- John Van Diest -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

What is meaningless to one is precious to another.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid nineties.  I had lunch with Charley.  I went to the post office and and then by Walgreens to leave a prescription.  I took a nap.  Later in the afternoon I went to a Dollar General Store.  I sat out with the cats this evening and also watered a couple of trees.  I have been reading from the Book of Revelation the past few days.  This is a Book of the Bible telling of things that will happen in the future.  I don't understand the meaning of lots of it but I understand enough that I sure want to be ready to meet the Lord.  Be sure you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

The cats are fine.  Rascal was just here a little while ago.  I don't know if I have spoiled the cats or if they have spoiled me.  Rascal wanted me to take a nap with him late this afternoon so I slept with him for about an hour.

At 9:45 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 88 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
