GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

3 Surely he (the Lord) will save you
   from the fowler’s snare
   and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
   and under his wings you will find refuge;
   his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
- Psalm 91:3-4(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

16 Don’t you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you? And don’t you husbands realize that your wives might be saved because of you?  - 1 Corinthians 7:16(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 56 degrees.  Low temperature last night was 26 degrees.  I had lunch with Charley today.  I came by the post office and picked up my mail.  The cleaning lady came at 1:00 p.m. and cleaned my house.  Later in the afternoon I took a nap.  I put food outside for the animals about 5:00 p.m.  I worked in my office room for over and hour this evening and I need to do more work.  A lady from our church passed away this morning.  Her name is Viola McClendon and she was 95 years of age.  She has gone to join her husband, Arnold, who passed away a few years ago.  Viola had been in a nursing home for a while.  One by one we oldies are going on.  I hope to attend church tomorrow if it is the Lord's will.  I appreciate all the wonderful responses to the Good Things and I am sorry that I don't have the time to answer each one personally.  If you haven't responded and still want the Good Things coming your way, be sure to send me an e-mail before tomorrow night.  The picture tonight is our beautiful cat named Happy.  He disappeared last spring.  I have asked the Lord many times where my Happy cat is but have not received an answer.  It still hurts really bad when I think about him.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl on the couch, Rascal in the recliner and the others are probably sleeping.  When I finish the Good Things, I will go to the recliner and let Rascal get in my lap.

At 9:20 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 39 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love,
Everett
