GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

29 Give to the Lord the glory he deserves!
Bring your offering and come into his presence.
Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor.
- 1 Chronicles 16:29(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The Lord says) 24 "I will answer them before they even call to me.
While they are still talking about their needs,
I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together.
The lion will eat hay like a cow.
But the snakes will eat dust.
In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain.
      I, the Lord, have spoken!”
- Isaiah 65:24-25(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Our faith can be attacked, but our faith can remain intact.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

A person lost in his or her work has probably found his or her future.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 56 degrees.  Low temperature last night was 27 degrees.  I have had a miserable cold all day.  I was lying in bed most of the day.  I didn't feel like going to Taco Bob's today.  I heated some soup for my lunch.  Flonnie always gave me soup when I was sick or feeling bad.  I did venture out to the post office about 1:00 p.m. and stopped briefly by Family Dollar and Country Mart looking for some items that I needed.  While I rested this afternoon Rascal came to rest with me.  I put food outside this evening for the animals.  I considered not doing the Good Things tonight but then I got to feeling a little better.  The picture tonight is Leo who got caught on the kitchen cabinet.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  Rascal is asleep in the recliner.  Beau was here a little while ago.  Leo was here earlier.  They are all accounted for tonight.

At 10:00 p.m. skies are fair with a temperatre of 34 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
