End Time

News photo and article in today's Sun News (Myrtle Beach, SC):  Picture of a woman in a car with a huge sign declaring Christ's return on May  21, 2010.  Jesus says, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."  Matthew 24:36.  Further reading: Matt. 24:26-42; Mark 13:28,29; Luke 21:29-31.

The article goes on to say  that this particular group says it is not guaranteed that any particular person is saved, only God  knows that!  Why  would anyone be looking for His return if he/she was not sure of salvation?

Thank God the Scripture makes clear that those who believe and trust and are obedient know that they  are in the Kindgdom.  John 14. Romans 8  (among others).

We look for Christ's return, pray for it, anticipate it, want to be ready for it.  It is certainly closer than when Christ was on Earth!
