GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

8 He will swallow up death forever!
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears.
He will remove forever all insults and mockery
      against his land and people.
      The Lord has spoken!
-Isaiah 25:8(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Romans 6:23(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess.  - Martin Luther -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

The right attitude has a remarkable way of changing things for the better.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid fifties.  I awoke around 5:00 a.m. this morning and could hear it raining hard.  By the time I got up after daylight the rain had stopped.  It was a thunderstorm but I didn't see any lightening or hear thunder.  I had lunch with Bill, Pastor J. T. Carnell and his wife, Dianne.  Charley was waiting for his son and wife to arrive from Olathe, Kansas.  I went by the post office, then Walmart and a Dollar General Store.  I took a nap this afternoon.  I put cat food outside this evening.  The picture tonight is Leo and Beau when they were much younger.

This will be the final Good Things for 2010.  If the Lord is willing I will continue with the Good things in the New Year.  I do appreciate all the e-mails that I get regarding the Good Things.  I do not have the time to answer each one personally.  Your e-mails are what keeps the Good Things coming your way.  My cats and I will let the old year go out gently without any celebration.

The cats are fine.  They are doing their usual thing, sleeping or prowling.

At 10:00 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 39 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.

I hope everyone has a Happy, Peaceful, Prosperous New Year.  May God Bless Each One In Your Families!
