GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote) 6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. 10 For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.  - 2 Corinthians 5:6-10(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 19 "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  - Matthew 28:19-20(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper fifties.  I attended Sunday School and Worship Services this morning.  I had lunch at home.  I took a nap this afternoon with Rascal and some other cats.  I attended church tonight.  Tonight was Missionary Night at our church where we learn more about out missionaries.  Tonight, a lady that attends our church, Sue Epps, told of her recent trip to Jerusalem and the Holy Land.  I have written about the neighbor cat from across the street that comes in the den and eats cat food.  His name is Tony and the picture tonight shows him on the desk near my computer eating cat food.

The cats are fine doing their usual things tonight.  Little Girl is on the couch and Rascal just came in.

At 10:05 p.m. skies are mostly cloudy with a temperature of 48 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
