GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. 15 For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. 16 For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.  - James 3:13-16(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 27 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”  - John 10:27-29(New Living Translation)

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Be thankful for the spot you find at the end of the parking lot, because it means you are capable of walking.
- From Reminise Magazine -

Your words. . .your ways. . .your thoughts honor God by their kindnesses.

NOTES

Today has been a cloudy day.  We had a little light rain this afternoon.  High temperatures today were in the sixties.  I had lunch with Charley.  I went by the post office and then to Walgreens to leave a prescription to be filled.  I went to cast my vote.  I renewed my car tag for another year.  I took a nap with a cat or two.  My daughter, June arrived around 5:00 p.m. to spend a few days with me.  We sat outside with the cats for a few minutes.  I am getting the Good Things out early tonight because I want to watch the election returns.

The cats are fine.  Rascal is on the desk here beside me and Little Girl is in her usual place.

At 8:05 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 55 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
