GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.  - Colossians 3:12-15(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

30 God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.  - 1 Corinthians 1:30(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny.  High temperatures were in the mid sixties.  I had lunch with Charley and then to the post office.  I took my afternoon nap.  Rascal napped with me this afternoon.  Later I went to Walmart for a few items.  I sat out with the cats for a while this evening even though it was a little cool.  I had my sweater on.  The picture tonight is of my dear Flonnie as I told you last night that I would send tonight.  Life would not be worth living without the knowledge that I will see her again.  She confirmed that for me earlier this year by walking down the street and waving to me even though at the time I didn't recognize her.  She is a young person again.  Won't it be wonderful going to that happy land where we will be in good health again and never, never grow old?  I can hardly wait.

The cats are fine.  Some of them are sleeping now.

At 10:37 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 46 degrees. I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
