GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

10 I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God!
For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation
and draped me in a robe of righteousness.
I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit
or a bride with her jewels.
- Isaiah 61:10(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
- Romans 16:20(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Thank you for loving me and accepting me as I am.
- From Pass-Along Promises -

To realize the worth of the anchor, we need to feel the wrath of the storm.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low seventies.  I had lunch with Charley.  I came by the post office.  I took a nap in early afternoon.  Later in the afternoon I went to Walgreens for an item.  I went to Sonic Drive In and picked up a hamburger for supper.  On Tuesday evenings after 5:00 p.m., Sonic hamburgers are half price and they are pretty good hamburgers.  You men that still have your wives to cook for you be sure to give her lots of love and attention.  I never learned to cook except on a microwave.   Flonnie was a good cook.  I don't think that she ever cooked anything that I didn't like.  I sat out with the cats and read for a while this evening.  It was a little cool but I had on a red sweater.  The picture tonight is another unusual picture that I made from our back yard.

The cats are fine.  Beau had to sit in my lap a while this evening while I was sitting outside.  After I came inside, Rascal had to sleep in my lap for a while.

At 10:30 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 49 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett
