GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

9 And now (O Lord), in my old age, don’t set me aside.
Don’t abandon me when my strength is failing.
- Psalm 71:9(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 1 Praise the Lord!
How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.
 2 Their children will be successful everywhere;
an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.
3 They themselves will be wealthy,
and their good deeds will last forever.
- Psalm 112:1-3(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Prayer is knocking at the door; faith is the expectation that it will be opened.
- W. J. Harnev -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Old friends are the best antiques you can have.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Don't condemn or condone; leave well enough alone.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with a few light sprinkles of rain early this morning.  High temperatures were in the eighties.  I had lunch with Charley and Pastor JT.  I went by the post office.  I took my nap in early afternoon with Smokey.  A new pizza place has opened in our town called Little Caesar's Pizza.  Their large pizza's are $5.00 and they are always ready.  They were also giving away 8 bread sticks with purchase of a pizza.  I went out and bought a pizza about 5:00 p.m.  I went by Charley's house and left him half of the pizza and 4 bread sticks.  He was suprised.  He was about to bake him a potato for supper.  I sat out with the cats this evening and read.  The picture tonight is another picture from my back yard around sunset.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl on the couch and Smokey is sleeping under the desk beside my computer.

At 10:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 75 degrees.  I will see you next time.
