GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

9 "He (God) does great things too marvelous to understand.
      He performs countless miracles.
10 He gives rain for the earth
      and water for the fields.
11 He gives prosperity to the poor
      and protects those who suffer.
12 He frustrates the plans of schemers
so the work of their hands will not succeed."
- Job 5:9-12(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

24 He (Jesus) personally carried our sins
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
   By his wounds
      you are healed.
25 Once you were like sheep
      who wandered away.
But now you have turned to your Shepherd,
      the Guardian of your souls.
- 1 Peter 2:24-25(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

God does notice us, and He watches over us.  But it is usually through another person that He meets our needs.  - Spencer W. Kimbell -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Whatever be your goal, keep your eye on the doughnut and not the hole.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Do what you can for whom you can, with what you have and where you are.
- From Reminisce Mafazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the eighties.  I had lunch with Charley, them came by the post office.  I took my nap in early afternoon.  Later I went to Country Mart and Walmart for cat food and a few other items.  I sat out with the kitties this evening.  I continue to receive e-mails for which I am grateful.  The picture tonight is a re-run of Smokey.  Several people commented on this blue eyed mixed breed long haired Siamese.  He likes to be near me part of the time and sleeps with me often.  He doesn't sit in my lap like the other cats but he is a good cat.  He likes to bathe my hands and arms.

The cats are fine.  Rascal has been in a few times but is out right now.   Little Girl is in the recliner.  Tony from across the street just came in for a few bites of dry cat food and went back out.

At 10:00 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 68 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
