GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 4 For the word of the LORD is right and true;
       he is faithful in all he does.
- Psalm 33:3(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  - Philippines 4:6-7(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Don't break the silence unless you can improve on it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

It's no use raising tadpoles if you can't keep the frogs.

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid eighties.  I attended church this morning.  Pastor J.T.'s sermon was titled "Do My Feelings Matter to God?" with Scripture from Luke 22:39 and Mark 14:32-41.  I had lunch at home.  I took a nap this afternoon.  Smokey took a nap with me.  I attended church tonight.  On Sunday nights we are studying a series titled "The Motivational 'Gifts' of The Spirit."  The title of tonight's study was "The Gift of Prophecy."

 It was dark when I arrived back home, however, I went outside and put out treats and food for the cats.  Several people told me how much they enjoyed the pictures, so once again, I am including a picture.  My niece, Ruby Renfro, who lives in Arizona, copied the picture of Flonnie and me and is going to put it in a frame and put with their family pictures. If they mean that much to people then I will keep sending them because it is no problem for me. The picture tonight is a sunset made from my back yard.  If anyone is not able to receive the pictures, please let me know.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is in the recliner tonight.  Rascal has been through several times but is somewhere else right now.  If anyone ever wonders why I write about my cats every night is that they are my family.  They have been so much company to me since my Flonnie went to Heaven.  Tony, the cat from across the street, just came in for a bite of dry cat food.  My cat food must be a different flavor than he has at home.

At 10:10 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 73 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
