GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

4 Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
- Isaiah 26:4(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 12"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."  - Matthew 24:12-13(New International Version).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the mid eighties.  I had lunch with Charley and then by the post office.  A lady and her daughter cleaned my house in early afternoon.  I took my nap.  Smokey was the one who chose to sleep on my bed this afternoon.  Later in the afternoon I went to the cemetery.  Then I went to Country Mart for cat food and other items.  I sat outside this evening with the kitties.  I would like to share a story with you tonight that I received from Michele Filitti.  She gave me permission to share it.  Michele lives in Southern California near or in Los Angeles.  She and her daughter, Amy, have a new kitten named Simon, Amy has an older cat named Molly and they have a dog named Bella.

My cats are fine.  Rascal played a trick on me last night.  He stayed out until about 4:45 a.m.  He had me worried and praying that he would come home safely which he did.  He came and got in bed with me like nothing had happened.  He was really sleepy for a while this morning after I got up.  He got in my lap a couple of times and went to sleep.  Now he is lying in the floor not too far from my chair.  Little Girl is in her favorite spot.  Beau just brought in a frog.  Itty Bitty and Smokey are watching him play with the frog.  I will have to take that frog back outside.

At 9:55 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 64 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love,
Everett.

Here is Michele's Story:

A story I want to share:

My Dad was a drug user my whole life. I loved him any way. One day 10 years ago I talked to him about Christ. He wasn't ready. But one day he went to church and got saved. He has been clean and sober ever since. We prayed and prayed for that day to come.

My Dad does not have a computer. So he asked me to contact his friends on Facebook from high school.

I did. His friends all knew he was a user. But I told all his friends he was born again and clean and sober.

You know what? ALL OF HIS FRIENDS BECAME CHRISTIANS OVER THE YEARS!

I am so happy I was able to get him reconnected with his friends.

My Dad is an artist. I will send you a picture that he drew. He does a lot of drawings of Christ's hands on the cross.

Michele
