GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

10 The godly will rejoice in the Lord
      and find shelter in him.
   And those who do what is right
      will praise him.
- Psalm 64:10(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

18 But the needy will not be ignored forever;
      the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed.
- Psalm 9:18(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

When a task is once begun, never leave it until it's done.

It's fine if you can't be a lifter, but then don't be a leaner.

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the upper eighties.  I had lunch with Charley.  Then I went to the post office, Walgreens and Walmart.  I took a nap with Beau and Emmy.  I sat out with the cats and read a little this evening.  What a beautiful evening we had.  I usually come inside when the street lights began coming on.  A few cats are always with me up until the time I come in.  Thanks for the e-mails from Alice, Annette, Audie, Burlene, Geneva, Lucille and Paula.  The picture tonight is my dear wife, Flonnie, and me.  This picture was made a few years ago in Topeka, Kansas, by Lake Shawnee.  We were visiting our daughter, Treva, during the Thanksgiving holidays.  Unless  I change my mind I think this will be the last picture that I show on Good Things.  I have lots and lots of pictures on my computer made the past few years.  If you would like to see more pictures, let me know and maybe I will send them separately to the ones that want them.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl on the couch.  Rascal just left out.  Smokey came through a few minutes ago.

At 10:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 59 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
