GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going."  - John 14:1-4(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.  - 1 John 4:10(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures around 80 degrees.  June and I had lunch at Taco Bob's.  Charley attended a church meeting today so did not eat with us.  After lunch, we went by the post office and then to Walmart for a few items.  June left for home about 2:15 p.m.  I took my afternoon nap.  June called later in the afternoon to say she had made it home okay.  I am sure her husband, Keith, was happy to have her back home.  It was just me and the cats sitting outside this evening.  It is just me and the cats at home tonight so it is a little lonesome but my cats keep me company and also keep me busy a lot of the time.  I had one e-mail today.  It was from Alice.  The Good Things are going out early tonight so maybe I will get a lot of e-mails this evening.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  She has been going outside some in the daytime.  The other cats have been coming through occasionally tonight.

At 8:45 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 64 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Sunday.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
