GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

39 Then, accompanied by the disciples, Jesus left the upstairs room and went as usual to the Mount of Olives. 40 There he told them, “Pray that you will not give in to temptation.”  - Luke 22:39-40(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

15 Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly.
The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!
- Psalm 118:15(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

It is better to sleep on things beforehand than to lie awake about them afterward.

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the upper seventies.  June and I had lunch with Charley.  We came by the post office and picked up the mail and then to Walgreens to leave prescriptions to be filled.  Later we went to Walmart for cat food and some other items.  I took my nap with Beau on the bed with me.  While I took my nap, June took my van, washed and vacumned it.  Tonight we sat out with the cats.  I had e-mails from Alice, Burlene and Mary Jo.  Thanks so much for your e-mails.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the lamp table close to June.  Rascal was just in but has headed elsewhere.

At 10:15 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 62 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
