GOOD THINGS

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

1 Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
      or stand around with sinners,
      or join in with mockers.
2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
      bearing fruit each season.
   Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.
- Psalm 1:1-3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

6 This same Good News (Gospel) that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.  - Colossians 1:6(New Living Translation)

 QUOTES

Speak the truth so as to encourage and build up others.
- Dr. Steve Stephens -

In a culture where people are loudly proclaiming they are "good without God" it's time to stand up and say . . . ''I Am A Christian." - Franklin Graham -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Take time to laugh, it's the music of the soul.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Smiles never go up in price or down in value.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid eighties.  I had lunch with Bill and Charley, then by the post office and then home.  I had my nap with Smokey.  I sat out with the cats this evening.  I have been doing the Good Things for several years and I am getting the feeling that maybe I should slow them down a little.  So look for the Good Things on Friday unless the Lord changes my mind.  I may gradually slow them down to where they might go out about once a week. The picture tonight is Emmy.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  Rascal was in a little while ago.

At 10:10 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 76 degrees.  I will see you later.

In Christian Love, Everett.
