GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

 (An angel of the Lord said to Zechariah, the priest) 14 "You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his (Jesus')  birth, 15 for he will be great in the eyes of the Lord. He must never touch wine or other alcoholic drinks. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth.-(Luke 1:14-15(New Living Translation)

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

32 "Now then, my sons, listen to me (wisdom);
       blessed are those who keep my ways.
- Proverbs 8:32(New International Version).

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures around 90 degrees.  I had lunch with Charley and Pastor J. T. Carnell.  I came by the post office.  After my nap this afternoon I went back to the post office to mail some letters.
I sat out with the cats this evening.  I have new neighbors next door and had not had an opportunity to get aquainted with them.  This evening they were playing with their two little kids in their back yard.  I went over to the fence and introduced my self and they intoduced themselves.  They are a young couple with a little boy about 2 years of age and a baby in diapers.  They seem like a nice family.  They have a couple of tabby gray kittens so we shouldn't have any cat problems.  Most of my cats disappear for a while when they come to the back yard.  The picture tonight is another picture of Leo.

The cats are fine.  None are here in the den with me at present.  Toney, the cat from across the street came in a little while ago for a few bites of dry food.  He does that occasionally and if I don't have some dry food out here on the desk he will look at me and meow and wait for me to go get him a handful of dry food.  He is the same color as Leo except Toney doesn't have a fuzzy tail like Leo.  He may be the father of Leo since he hasn't been neutered.

At 10:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 83 degrees.  I will see you next time.
