GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

25 The Lord tears down the house of the proud,
but he protects the property of widows.
- Proverbs 15:25(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

14 So be happy when you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.  - 1 Peter 4:14(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

People only see what they are prepared to see.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

An ounce of fact means more than a ton of argument.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

You may give without caring, but you can't care without giving.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been sunny with high temperatures in the mid nineties.  I attended a funeral this morning for an 86 year old lady by the name of Rosie Lamb.  She used to attend the church that I attend.  I had lunch with Charley.  I went by the post office.  I took my nap this afternoon.  I have been inside the rest of the day until around 7:00 p.m.  I sat outside for a few minutes with the cats and read.  I have shown you all of my cats, so any more pictures now would be repetitious( is that a good word?) so I will not show any pictures for a while.  If my computer ever goes down I probably won't have it fixed so if I ever miss a few days of Good Things you will know that something has happened to my computer or me.

The cats are fine.  They are all somewhere besides here in the den because I am all alone.

At 10:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 85 degrees.  Have a Wonderful Worshipful Restful Sunday!  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
