GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.  - James 4:7-8(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."  - Matthew 18:2-4(New Living Translation).

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures around 90 degrees.  This morning my lawn was mowed and trees were trimmed by a good friend.  This afternoon my house was cleaned by my good friend's wife.  Of course I payed them a little to do it but they did excellent jobs.  June and I had lunch with Charley.  He brought us some tomatos and okra.  We had okra for supper tonight.  I took a nap this afternoon while June ran some errands.  We sat out with the cats this evening.

The cats are fine.  I have some new pictures of my cats so if you want to see pictures of my cats let me know and I will send them.

At 11:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 83 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
