GOOD THINGS

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
 
(Jesus said) 35 "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. 36 And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. 37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”  - Matthew 12:35-37(New Living Translation).
 
 
 
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD.
 
 (The Apostle Paul wrote) 9 "I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. 10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God."  - Philippians 1:9-11(New Living Translation).

NOTES
 
Today has been another hot mostly sunny day with high temperatures in the mid nineties.  I had lunch with Bill and Charley.  The only other place I went was the post office so I don't have much news for you tonight.  It was cool enough for me to sit out with the cats and read this evening for about an hour.  I had an e-mail from a friend who lives at Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Her name is Alice Barrett.  She gave me permission to share her letter with you.  Alice understands my visits from Flonnie.
 
The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch.  She is really a couch potato although she does get in my lap sometimes when I am in the recliner.  Itty Bitty and Rascal were here a little while ago but have now gone elsewhere.  One or two of the cats are in the cool in other parts of the house.  Smokey stays inside most of the time.  He is a smart one.
 
At 10:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 84 degrees.  I will see you next time.

Dear Bro. Everett,
'Just want to express happiness that you had a visitation from Flonnie. Don't worry about what some might think or say. We know when we are blessed - and we know from where it comes :) As best I can, I understand your being so anxious to go to see Flonnie - but you have a great purpose here for a while. The thoughts and writings you share are making an impact beyond your imagination.  My husband is so blessed when I read your Good Things to him. I copy and send parts of almost every one of them to friends, family or church family - to share the blessing. No doubt many others are equally blessed and share the blessing - hearts are changed because of your inspired Good Things being shared!
 
Savor that visitation of beautiful Flonnie. Those who don't believe or understand - well they can't because they have never experienced such a blessing.
