NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the nineties. The heat index was again well above 100. I had lunch with Bill and Charley. I then went by Country Mart for a few minutes, then to the post office and I have been inside the rest of the day. I went outside after 7:00 p.m. to sit with the cats but I couldn't stay because of the heat. I came inside to read tonight. The cats came in also when I came in. I went back outside a little before 9:00 p.m. and it was still hot. I will probably have to do my reading inside in the evening until this hot spell goes away.
The cats are fine. Little Girl on the couch and the others here and there. Itty Bitty, Rascal and Smokey have been around as well as Beau. Emmy was outside when I went out at 9:00 as well as Lucy. Lucy likes to sleep outside at night during the hot weather. She never will sleep in the house although she will sleep on the porch in cool weather. As I have often said many times before my cats love me. Sometimes they will just look at me and meow, not wanting anything. I guess they just want to talk.
At 10:20 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 86 degrees. I will see you next time.
