GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(John The Baptist said) 35 "The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands. 36 And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”  - John 3:35-36(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

21 My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment.
      Hang on to them,
22 for they will refresh your soul.
They are like jewels on a necklace.
23 They keep you safe on your way,
and your feet will not stumble.
- Proverbs 3:21-23(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Understanding is knowing what to do; wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is actually doing it.
- Tristan Gulberd -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Mosquitoes are like children - the moment they stop making noise, you know they're getting into something.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures around 90 degrees.  I attended Sunday School this morning and then came home.  June, Treva and I then drove to Holdenville, about 50 miles northwest of McAlester.  We met a couple of relatives from Tulsa and had lunch at June's Diner in Holdenville.  We then went to Glory Cemetery, a little cemetery near Holdenville Lake and put flowers on the graves.  Flonnie's mother, step-dad, grandpa, aunt and uncle are buried there.  We came home and were tired so we rested for a while.  This evening we sat in the back yard with the cats.  I will list the first names of the people that I have not heard from wanting to continue the Good Things. If your name is on this list and you want to continue with the Good Things I need to hear from you.

At 11:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 76 degrees.  I will see you next time.
