GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

9 Let those who are wise understand these things.
Let those with discernment listen carefully.
The paths of the Lord are true and right,
and righteous people live by walking in them.
But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
- Hosea 14:9(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

17 For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too.  - Romans 14:17-18(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

We should work together, like two peas in a pod - For this work's not ours, you know - It all belongs to God.
- Harold W. Turner -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

People don't plan to fail; they fail because they don't plan.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

If little ears should not hear it, big mouths should not say it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the high seventies.  After lunch I went to Country Mart and the post office.  I attended church tonight.  We studied from Joshua, chapter 14.  After church I sat out with the cats for 15 or 20 minutes.  There are thunderstorms west of us moving this way so we may have rain later tonight.  Here is a website that you might want to check out if you don't already know about it:  www.pandora.com .   You can type in a song or an artist and the music will play.  Thanks to Paula Caldwell for sending it to me.

The cats are fine.  They are outside at present.

At 10:35 p.m. skies are mostly cloudy with a temperature of 77 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
