GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(Wisdom says) 23 "Come and listen to my counsel.
I’ll share my heart with you
      and make you wise."
- Proverbs 1:23(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

33Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
      How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
- Romans 11:33(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Stay cool when the heat is on.

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

A person who leans toward laziness never seems to have time to do anything.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

As long as you have a window, life is exciting.

NOTES

The high temperature today was around 70 degrees.  It started to rain this morning before daylight.  The rain lasted for 2 or 3 hours.  After lunch I went to the post office and Walgreens.  Then I went to Walmart to fill my van with gasoline.  It rained some more while I was taking my nap this afternoon.  I sat out with the cats for about 30 minutes this evening until a light rain started to fall.  At present we have cloudy skies but the rain is over for a while.  I have been listening to Slim Whitman sing gospel songs while I did the Good Things.  Some of the songs I heard were "I'll Fly  Away," "Who At My Door Is Standing?," "Mansion Over The Hilltop,"  "Suppertime,"  "Precious Memories,"  "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow," "Face To Face," "Everyone Needs Someone To Care" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again."  I pay $12.99 per month to belong to Rhapsody on the Internet where I can hear just about any song that has been recorded.

At 10:05 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 66 degrees.  I will see you next time.

The cats are fine going in and out as they please.
